Underground Racing Twin Turbo Gallardo Superleggera goes 250.1 MPH

Underground Racing has exceeded 250 mph (402 km/h) in a Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera outfitted with their 1500 WHP twin-turbo package.

The extraordinary event occurred at The Texas Mile, where Richard Holt piloted his Gallardo Superleggera to a top speed of 250.1 mph (403 km/h). Not too shabby, considering the stock Superleggera has a top speed of 202 mph (325 km/h).

Despite the eventual success, there were a number of setbacks. For the first two days, Underground Racing played with the suspension settings and turbochargers to no avail. When Sunday rolled around, the company finally got everything right.
