GiveaCar: Donate Your Car to Charity for Good Deed

If you've got a car that just won't work no matter how hard you've tried, or maybe your vehicle isn't worth the effort you spend fixing it, why not donate your car to help a charity close to your heart. There are loads of donation schemes out there that are able to turn your old car in cash for your favorite charity. Many only take cars in good condition, but one program in the UK, Giveacar, is happy to take cars in any condition.

Giveacar can arrange the collection of your vehicle free of charge and at a time to suit you. Your old car will either be put into an auction or scrapped, depending on its state of repair. A donation will then be made to your chosen charity based on the price received at auction or the value of the parts and scrap metal salvaged from  your car.

Cars are scrapped in an environmentally friendly way, with the vehicle being fully depolluted and at least 85% of the vehicles weight being recycled.
